Is Prey a bad movie?

It's such a pity that Prey went directly to streaming, since it's a film that needs to be seen in theaters. Observing it with the Comanche dub is very exciting. This is a far cry from the unsettling sensations of the original work and John McTiernan's classic flourish, but director Dan Trachtenberg is eager to show off with an assortment of modern visual ideas and sturdy action choreography, and it fits perfectly with the survivalist sensibility of the original film. It is dense with evocative imagery of forest vistas, Prey review and the soundtrack and sound design enhance to the immersion. Amber Midthunder's mostly silent performance as Naru propels the movie. Her facial emotions and quick movements define the movie's speed and rhythms, all the way up to the climactic clash in the third act. So grotesque and cruel. It's fantastic to see the Predator return in a significant manner.
